# One login for every band you work with

> Touring crew work for several acts at once. Their software should not make them juggle a login, a profile and a set of permissions for each one.

A front-of-house engineer might mix three acts in a season. A tour manager might run one artist in the spring and another in the fall while advancing a festival in between. Most tour software assumes the opposite: one company, one roster, one login per person per account. So working crew end up with a password manager full of near-identical accounts, and the same passport number typed into five different systems.

We started Mighty Tour from the crew member’s side of that problem.

## One identity that follows you

In Mighty Tour you have one account. When a band, a management company or an agency invites you to their team, that team appears in your account; switch between them the way you switch between Slack workspaces. Leave a team and your account, and everything personal in it, stays yours.

## A base profile, with per-team overrides

You keep your touring details once: dietary needs, emergency contact, passport and licence details, the things every advance asks for. Each team sees that base profile, but you can override any field for a particular team — a different display name, a different contact number, a role-specific note — without changing it everywhere else.

## Six roles, so people see what their job needs

Not everyone on a tour should see the settlement. Mighty Tour has six roles:

- **Owner** — everything, and there can be more than one
- **Admin** — everything except deleting the account or transferring ownership
- **Manager** — all tour content and finances; can invite people but not manage the team
- **Member** — creates and edits content, including finances, but cannot delete
- **Viewer** — read-only, finances included
- **Crew** — read-only, show-day material only: dates, venues, schedules, travel, guest lists, advances and documents; no finances, contracts or catalog

The crew role is the one we are proudest of. A tech on their first tour with a band gets exactly the day sheet, the schedule and the travel plan, and nothing that would make the manager nervous.

## Personal details deserve real protection

If crew are going to store passport numbers and medical notes in one place, that place has to be trustworthy. In Mighty Tour, sensitive fields — passport and ID numbers, dates of birth, licences, allergies, medical notes and emergency contacts — are encrypted field by field, with the encryption keys held in a cloud key management service rather than next to the data. Documents you upload are encrypted before they are stored. Every account can turn on two-factor sign-in, export its data and delete itself without emailing anyone.

## What it costs crew

Nothing. Your account, your profile and the teams you are invited to are free; the team that invites you chooses the plan. If you run your own act, the free plan covers an artist, tours, dates, venues, a hosted artist page and the public API, and you can [see everything else here](https://mightytour.app/features/).
