# Publish your tour dates once and show them everywhere

> Your fans look for shows on your website, in search results and in their calendars. Here is how to keep all of them right from a single list.

When a date moves, how many places do you have to update? For most artists it is the website, a ticketing link, a social post, maybe a spreadsheet the agent keeps and a calendar the band shares. Miss one and a fan shows up on the wrong night.

The fix is boring and effective: keep one list of shows, and have everything else read from it. Here is how that works in Mighty Tour, and what each piece does for you.

## Mark a show as published

Every date in Mighty Tour has a status: draft, published, confirmed, advanced, wrapped or cancelled. Holds and drafts stay private. When a show is announced, publish it and it appears everywhere below at once, with the venue, the doors time, the ticket link and a sold-out flag when you need it.

## A hosted artist page, with nothing to build

Every artist gets a page at its own address — `your-band.mightytour.app` — listing upcoming shows with tickets and directions. It is free, it is always current, and it is a good link for a bio, a press kit or a social profile. Paid plans let you add your own colors and logo.

## Your WordPress site, with event schema for search

If your site runs on WordPress, the Mighty Tour plugin adds a tour dates block — list, card or table layout — and a `Mighty Tour: missing artist slug. Set one in the shortcode or Settings → Mighty Tour.` shortcode for classic themes. Dates are cached, so your site stays fast.

The plugin also adds schema.org `MusicEvent` structured data for each show. That is the markup search engines use to understand that a page lists concerts — the date, the venue and where to buy tickets — which makes your shows eligible to appear in event results instead of as a plain link.

## Fans’ calendars

Each artist also has a calendar feed of published shows. Fans, family and the crew’s partners can subscribe from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook, and new or moved shows update on their own.

## Anything else: the public API

For a custom site, an app or a label’s roster page, the same data is available as JSON with no API key:

```
GET https://api.mightytour.app/api/v1/artists/{slug}/tour-dates?from=2026-11-01
```

Each date includes the start and doors times, status, ticket link, sold-out flag, the tour, and the venue with its address, coordinates and a map link. Results are paginated and can be filtered by date. There is also `/api/v1/artists/{slug}` for the artist’s profile, photo and logos, and `/api/v1/artists/{slug}/calendar.ics` for the calendar feed.

## Start with the free plan

Everything in this post — tours and dates, the hosted page, the WordPress plugin, the calendar feed and the API — is on the free plan. [Create an account](https://api.mightytour.app/register), add your next run of shows, and publish them once.
